Dr. Nita Kaushik is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Technology at NIILM University, Kaithal. She holds a Ph.D. in Food Technology, along with a postgraduate degree in Food Science & Technology, reflecting a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied aspects of food science. She has successfully qualified the UGC NET, CSIR-NET, demonstrating excellence in research aptitude. Her academic and research experience has enabled her to contribute effectively to teaching, research, and curriculum development.
Dr. Kaushik’s research interests primarily focus on Food Processing, Bioactive compounds, Functional and Value-Added Food Products, and Emerging Technologies in Food Technology. She has made significant scholarly contributions with 20 research publications in reputed Scopus-indexed journals, demonstrating her active engagement in high-quality research and innovation. She is committed to advancing research-driven teaching and mentoring students in scientific inquiry, thereby fostering academic excellence in the field of food technology.
